MENA partnered with the Center for the Writing Arts at Northwestern to host Moroccan playwright, novelist, and magazine editor Driss Ksikes as a writer-inresidence for the spring quarter. An internationally recognized playwright, the former editor of the vital Moroccan magazines TelQuel and Nichane, and the current editor of the Moroccan publication Economia, Ksikes has made major contributions to the artistic, political, and intellectual life of Morocco and the Arab world more generally
